Poem Number Two, and Author Has a Heart Attack

In other news, the first poem I ever posted is one I don't even like that much. So here's another. Maybe it's better.  It's called "Discontent."

Is it wrong to want what’s unattainable

To waste time ruminating on the lost

To wish and want until you are unable

To realize the benefit and cost.

Humanity has a streak of discontent

For the grass that’s greener on the other side

And spiteful ignorance for time well spent

Fueled by our interminable pride

We should more often look to nature’s sight

The wisdom and perception of the years

That tell us clearly persistence turns to might

That courage emerges from our conquered fears

The Author Is Irate (And Has A Headache).

So. No views, no comments, no shares. Everything in me wants to not care, but unfortunately emotions can't be turned off.    ...
